Further to the Carnoustie Panmure Youth club statement on 8 January 2021 the Youth committee met last night and have decided to pause all u12 team training for the next two weeks.
This decision has been made following further discussion with our SFA East Region Club Development Manager who asked the Club to suspend all u12 training sessions during the current lockdown in line with the SYFA National Secretaries statement which strongly recommends that clubs and parents give serious consideration to whether or not such activity is necessary.
Given the current health crisis the Youth committee decision to suspend all training is based on our duty of care to ensure the well being of our players, coaches, volunteers and the wider community and is in line with the spirit of the Scottish Governments stay at home guidance.
We realise our members will be disappointed with the temporary suspension of all football activities and encourage all to keep active in a safe manner until club training resumes.
The Youth committee will meet again on Thursday 28 January 2021 to review the situation.
